STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The article considers the process of digitalization of the education system of the Russian Federation as a phased and systemic phenomenon, covering changes in the content, organization and management of educational activities. The purpose of the study is to analyze the stages of digital transformation of Russian education, identify key trends in its development, as well as assess the impact of digital technologies on the formation of a modern educational environment. The methodological basis of the work is general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis and generalization, a comparative historical method, a systematic approach, as well as structural and functional analysis. Additionally, the method of analyzing the regulatory and program documents of the Russian Federation regulating the development of the digital educational environment was used. As a result of the study, three main stages of digitalization of education in Russia were identified: the early stage (late XX - early XXI century), characterized by the infrastructural introduction of information and communication technologies; an active stage (mid-2010s) related to the institutionalization of digital solutions within the framework of the national project "Education"; and the modern stage (2020s), accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic and characterized by the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, analytical systems and distance learning platforms. It has been established that digitalization has transformed pedagogical practices, strengthened the personalization of training and increased the availability of educational resources. The significance of the study lies in the systematization of the stages of digital transformation of education and the identification of its role as a factor in improving the quality of education, developing human capital and reducing regional disparities in the educational system of the Russian Federation.
