DIGITAL RESULTS OF INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITIES: ESSENCE AND CLASSIFICATION

Abstract

In the context of the rapid development of the digital economy, as well as the active introduction of information technologies in all areas of the economy, it is worth noting the increasing role of intellectual activity results that are created, distributed and used through the digital environment. The introduction of digital technologies into various sectors of the economy, such as science, education, manufacturing, etc., contributes to the formation of a new digital form of intellectual property, which has its own characteristics and complexities. To begin with, the study focuses on the whole concept of intellectual property results, their existing classification, as well as a comparison of the legal framework of RID in Russia and abroad, and considers digital platforms for the placement of RID in Russia and abroad. As a result of the research, the goal was achieved to determine the essence of digital readers, and their properties were considered, including immateriality, a simplified process of copying and distribution, multiformatedness, and others. The advantages of digital readers are also identified, which are directly related to their properties, as well as the difficulties associated with digital readers, the key of which are the threats associated with copyright infringement and illegal copying of the result. The results obtained can be used in conducting scientific research in the field of intellectual property, as well as in considering issues of legal regulation of intellectual property results, taking into account the development of the digital environment. It is concluded that there is a need for systematic interaction between government agencies, business and society, scientific and educational organizations for the further successful development of digital RIDS. It also notes the need for further theoretical study on the issue of digital readers.
