TRENDS AND FACTORS INFLUENCING THE INVESTMENT MARKET IN RUSSIA AND THE WORLD

Abstract

The article examines the factors influencing the investment market in Russia and the world. The article presents trends and factors of investment market growth in Russia: gradual recovery of the investment market in Russia, emergence of new investment platforms and venture funds, alternative project financing instruments, including the use of microcheques, crowdlending, crowdfunding, syndicated transactions in the context of investment and venture training programs, increased demand for mature startups, promising development of digital ecosystems in the field of biotechnology based on the purchase of high-tech companies and the use of corporate IT solutions. The current state of the investment market in international countries is analyzed. It is shown that the investment market in the countries of the South Caucasus and Central Asia is experiencing difficulties due to a significant drop in transactions. The investment market in Eastern European countries is balancing, while the total volume of investment in projects has decreased by more than half. Due to the decrease in the average check, as well as the relatively low volume of outlayer transactions, the total level of financial investments decreased by 60%. The Turkish investment market is at the stage of a significant decline in key indicators. Practical cases of capital investments in investment projects (China and Peru) are given. A model for assessing capital investments in investment projects is considered. It is reflected that it is necessary to take into account the factors influencing the investment market in Russia and the world in the model for assessing capital investments in investment projects: uncertainty and risk, inflation.
