Abstract

The impact of digital transformation on the well-being measurement system has become an independent area of scientific research. Researchers study new socio-economic phenomena caused by digitalization and give both subjected and objective assessment to them. Many aspects of human life are subject to transformation. The dynamics of changes provokes the development of new statistical indicators that can reflect these changes. Thanks to penetration of technology, we face the digital environment more often, which has led to the emergence of the term “digital life”. The task of assessing the quality of digital life arises. Nowadays, indicators of affordability of the Internet, along with its usability, are becoming more important. There is a consensus among researchers on the need to include e-government indicators in well-being metrics. The article describes the essence of the impact of digitalization on people's quality of life, examines the typology of well-being assessment systems, analyzes approaches to quantifying the impacts of digital transformation on the quality of life. The results of the analysis of the digital transformation of various aspects of well-being and the quality of digital life can be used in the compilation of well-founded metrics of well-being. The analysis of the mechanisms for quantifying the impacts of digitalization on well-being will allow the authorities to formulate the principles of forming a policy to improve citizen's quality of life. It should be noted that despite the diversity of approaches, the researchers came to a common conclusion: improving well-being by digitalization will work only in conditions of the development of the institutional environment.
