SOCIO-ENVIR ONMENTAL-ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article focuses on the problems and aspects of sustainable agricultural development, from the standpoint of the industry, as a process of reproduction related to biological processes, economic and social efficiency, while agriculture, as a food producer, serves as a source of life for people. The authors have substantiated the relevance and defined the content of the approach to sustainable agricultural development in the context of three components: environmental, economic and social. The research methods used in this article are synthesis, statistical analysis, and comparison methods. The main aspects of sustainable development of the agricultural sector were considered, factors and main indicators of effective economic activity from the point of view of environmental safety and social and economic components were identified, the relationship of socio-environmental and economic aspects of sustainable development of agricultural production was established. A set of factors and conditions determining the sustainable development of the agricultural sector has been investigated. In conclusion to the research SWOT - analysis of sustainable development of rural areas taking into account socio-ecological-economic aspects was presented.
