В статье представлен современный концептуальный подход к анализу социально-экономической сущности и инструментария протекционистской политики. Рассматриваются актуальные механизмы реализации протекционистских стратегий, включая тарифные и нетарифные барьеры, государственное субсидирование, валютное регулирование и развитие инфраструктуры. Особое внимание уделяется оценке значимости этих инструментов в контексте глобальных экономических трансформаций, сопровождающихся процессами деглобализации и необходимостью гармонизации национальных интересов с требованиями международной экономической интеграции. Протекционизм, как ключевой элемент экономической стратегии, приобретает особую значимость в условиях растущей нестабильности мировой экономики и усиления конкуренции на глобальных рынках. Статья акцентирует внимание на важности комплексного подхода к разработке и внедрению протекционистских мер, учитывающего не только экономические, но и социальные аспекты. Работа предназначена для специалистов в области экономики и государственной политики, заинтересованных в современных тенденциях развития протекционистских стратегий и их влиянии на национальную экономическую безопасность и стабильность. The article presents a modern conceptual approach to the analysis of the socio-economic essence and instruments of protectionist policy. The article considers current mechanisms for implementing protectionist strategies, including tariff and non-tariff barriers, government subsidies, currency regulation and infrastructure development. Particular attention is paid to assessing the significance of these instruments in the context of global economic transformations accompanied by deglobalization processes and the need to harmonize national interests with the requirements of international economic integration. Protectionism, as a key element of economic strategy, is of particular importance in the context of growing instability of the global economy and increasing competition in global markets. The article focuses on the importance of an integrated approach to the development and implementation of protectionist measures, taking into account not only economic but also social aspects. The work is intended for specialists in the field of economics and public policy interested in modern trends in the development of protectionist strategies and their impact on national economic security and stability.The article was prepared within the framework of the implementation of the development program of the Southwest State University of the «Priority-2030» project.
