В статье анализируются экономическая природа, механизмы функционирования и институциональные особенности криптовалют в контексте их влияния на финансовую стабильность. Особое внимание уделяется тому, как рост крипторынка и появление новых цифровых инструментов отражаются на денежно-кредитной системе и стратегии центральных банков. На основе данных Банка России, МВФ и аналитических платформ проведена оценка динамики капитализации крипторынка и степени его интеграции в мировые финансовые процессы. Сравнительный анализ международных подходов к регулированию позволяет выделить ключевые модели надзора и их применимость для российской практики. Показано, что сохранение финансовой стабильности требует взвешенного сочетания инноваций, мониторинга рисков и развития цифровой инфраструктуры, включая проект цифрового рубля.
This article analyzes the economic nature, operating mechanisms, and institutional characteristics of cryptocurrencies in the context of their impact on financial stability. Particular attention is paid to the impact of the crypto market's growth and the emergence of new digital instruments on the monetary system and central bank strategies. Using data from the Bank of Russia, the IMF, and analytical platforms, an assessment is made of the crypto market's capitalization dynamics and the degree of its integration into global financial processes. A comparative analysis of international regulatory approaches allows us to identify key supervisory models and their applicability to Russian practice. It is shown that maintaining financial stability requires a balanced combination of innovation, risk monitoring, and the development of digital infrastructure, including the digital ruble project.
